The Journey can be used with either standing or transport slings, giving the carer the ability to perform various moving and handling duties, including, toileting, standing, point-to-point transfers and walking/rehab. 

The unique adjustable cow-horn gives maximum flexibility and improved comfort for the patient. The three-stop adjustment ensures optimum operation for every task over a wide range of patient heights and sizes.

Unlike any other standaid currently available, the Oxford Journey can be folded quickly and easily for storage or transportation, and will fit comfortably into the boot of most family-sized cars. Where storage space is at a premium, the Journey can be stored upright, and the quick-release technology ensures that it can be unfolded ready for use in seconds - no need for tools or special attachments.

The Oxford Journey's knee pad is height adjustable to ensure that the patient feels comfortable and fully supported throughout the transfer. The knee pad is also fitted with a retractable safety belt, providing additional support and reassurance.

By removing the foot tray, the Journey transforms into a rehabilitation aid that allows the patient to stand fully and encourages independent walking. It also makes cleaning / disinfection of the foot tray quick and simple.
